Get behind the wheel with Greg Krause of RTC as he shares his thoughts on creating a truly functional transportation system here in northern Nevada. And, hear marketing strategies and tactics designed to shift public perception and build acceptance of the new gas- and time-saving roundabouts around town.

In this fast-paced session, Greg will address the problem of relying on fuel taxes to fund roads while meeting the challenge to increase the efficiency and capacity of the street and highway system. RTC Marketing Director Angela White will join Greg with specific marketing strategies to shift public perception and address concerns about Reno’s new roundabouts. You’ll hear ideas on creating effective marketing communications and generating media awareness to deliver the message.

You’ll take away tips on how to:

  • Create public and private partnerships.

  • Allay the concerns of your audience.
  • Create effective communication and distribution.
  • Persuade the media to deliver your message.
  • Create outreach programs to target groups.
  • Plan a gala Opening Day celebration.

ToddThis October, take a page out of author and entrepreneur Todd Smart’s playbook: For today’s information-seeking consumers, custom publications that you create can convey valuable information, promote your company’s brand, and send your company’s sales skyrocketing! Custom publications reach across all audiences, from customers, prospects, employees, and vendors to stakeholders and the media, too. Best of all, custom publications work to improve relationships, trustworthiness, and sales…but only if you have a clear strategy in place. The good news is, Todd will be here to show you how.

In this fast-paced and entertaining session, Todd Smart, President of BeTuitive Publishing, will guide you through seven necessary steps to build a publication strategy that works. Among his many insights:

  • Relationships are like bank accounts.

  • Different audience, different message.
  • Let relevance be your battle cry.
  • Delivery – they want it their way.
  • Frequency – quality or quantity?
  • Measuring Results – did you hit the target?
  • Success over time – is decline inevitable?

Todd Smart is a serial entrepreneur who has started four successful businesses since the age of 22. He is a master facilitator and trainer for international CEO peer groups and a sought-after speaker for marketers. Todd’s first hardcover book, which focuses on building business relationships through company newsletters and magazines, will be released in February of 2008. Todd’s current business, BeTuitive Publishing, partners with businesses who want to publish the very best newsletter or magazine in their respective industry to increase credibility and sales.
