Get behind the wheel with Greg Krause of RTC as he shares his thoughts on creating a truly functional transportation system here in northern Nevada. And, hear marketing strategies and tactics designed to shift public perception and build acceptance of the new gas- and time-saving roundabouts around town.
In this fast-paced session, Greg will address the problem of relying on fuel taxes to fund roads while meeting the challenge to increase the efficiency and capacity of the street and highway system. RTC Marketing Director Angela White will join Greg with specific marketing strategies to shift public perception and address concerns about Reno’s new roundabouts. You’ll hear ideas on creating effective marketing communications and generating media awareness to deliver the message.
You’ll take away tips on how to:
- Create public and private partnerships.
- Allay the concerns of your audience.
- Create effective communication and distribution.
- Persuade the media to deliver your message.
- Create outreach programs to target groups.
- Plan a gala Opening Day celebration.
