Friday, October 1st, 2010

As marketers, we’re challenged with getting people clamoring for our clients’ products and services.  Helping a client tell their story and differentiating them from other competitors is key to building brand awareness and creating market share.  How can public relations build brands and buzz and get the attention of target audiences so they’re thinking about your client in favorable, authentic and unique ways?

You will hear PR strategies that you can employ to increase your client’s market awareness and positively impact their business, including:

  • Leveraging your client’s brand position to tell their story.
  • Learning what PR tools are available to you.
  • PR case studies:  true stories!
  • Integrating PR within your marketing plan.

Our Speaker: With more than 20 years of strategic public relations under her belt, Julie Ardito, Julie ArditoAPR, started her own firm in September 2009, creatively naming it Julie Ardito Public Relations.  She serves a diverse group of companies providing public relations planning, media relations, issues management and assisting clients with building their business through increased awareness and strategic brand communications.  Prior to opening her own company, she worked for top local organizations including:  EDAWN, The Glenn Group, IGT and Caesars Tahoe.  Ardito has been recognized with the Gold Spike Award given to a local public relations professional for advancing the profession in Reno-Tahoe and is a recipient of numerous AMA Ace Awards and Public Relations Society of America Silver Spike Awards for excellence in marketing and public relations.  She recently earned an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America reflecting a mastery of her knowledge, skills and abilities in the industry.
